We are pleased to announce that player registrations for the 2024 season are now open via PlayHQ
The registration fee for players in 2024 has been maintained at the same amount as last year of $170 with a discount for second and third children. There is also an early bird discount of $20 for anyone that registers before December 31st.
League Registration Fee
The AFL South East, who operate the Frankston & District Junior Football League (of which our club is a member), has introduced a League Registration fee of $10.08 per player. This small fee is necessary due to changes in operational costs from the FDJFL and will allow AFL South East to continue providing support to the league in a sustainable manner. This kind of fee is common practice across many junior football leagues in Victoria and will allow the AFL South East to remove gate fees for the 2024 finals series and provide additional benefits such as a “Little Saints” day for the Under 8 – Under 10 age groups. More information on this day will be shared when it is available.
Chelsea Senior Football Club Membership
There will be an option for families to purchase a membership for the Chelsea Senior Football Club at the time of registration. You will be able to purchase either a single membership for $70 or a family membership for $120. This membership will grant you free access to all Senior home games throughout the 2024 season. Purchasing the membership at the time of registration will also provide a financial benefit back to the junior club. We encourage all families to consider supporting the Senior club and look forward to seeing you at the club on Saturday afternoons throughout the 2024 season.
Chelsea JFC Business Directory
We are considering the possibility of adding a business directory of our members businesses and services to our website to help promote people within our club. To gain an understanding of the interest in this proposal, we have added a simple question to the registration form seeking interest from members. We are not looking for a commitment at this stage, if you click yes to this option, someone from the club will be in touch to discuss the option further.
